Close House Watch
Community Patrol volunteers offer a free Close House Watch service for Port St. Lucie residents who will be away from home or on vacation. This service helps give you peace of mind by having trained volunteers periodically check on your home to ensure it remains secure in your absence. Whether you're leaving for a few days or an extended period, the Close House Watch service can be an extra layer of security to deter potential crimes.
How it Works:
- Volunteers from the Community Patrol will perform exterior checks of your property at random intervals.
- If anything unusual is observed, it will be reported immediately to the Port St. Lucie Police Department for further action.
- You can provide specific details, such as emergency contacts, trusted neighbors, or the presence of security systems, which will help volunteers monitor your property effectively.
